Getting Started

• Launch the app and select a display mode (G5 ADI, G5 HSI, Dual G5, GI 275 ADI, or GI 275 HSI)
• Use the GFC 500 autopilot panel to engage modes (HDG, NAV, APR, VS, ALT, FLC)
• Adjust wind, heading, and course using the sandbox controls
• Try guided scenarios for structured practice

Common Questions

Why does my heading differ from my ground track?

Wind! The track diamond shows your actual ground track. The difference between heading and track is your wind correction angle.

What do the CDI dots represent?

Each dot represents a fixed angular or distance deviation depending on nav source:

• VOR: 2° per dot (10° full scale)
• LOC: 0.5° per dot (2.5° full scale)
• GPS: 0.06 NM per dot (0.3 NM full scale)

Are the approach plates current?

No. All approach plates are for training purposes only and should never be used for actual navigation.
